Enzyme replacement therapy improves cardiac features and severity of Fabry disease

► Registry data from 66 patients with Fabry disease (FD) were studied over 2-5 years. ► Enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) improved LVH if present at baseline. ► ERT prevented LVH if absent at baseline. ► ERT normalised long QT intervals, short PQ intervals and P wave abnormalities. ► Long-term ERT objectively reduced a severity score index for FD.
