Abstract
- Hypertensive coronary bed is hyporeactive to NO and H2S.
- In normotension, H2S-induced coronary vasodilation obligatorily requires NO.
- In normotension, NO-induced coronary vasodilation obligatorily requires H2S.
- In hypertension, NO- and H2S-induced effects are reciprocally independent.
- Hypertension abolishes the mutual interaction between the two gasotransmitters.
