Abstract

âº Gomishi is the fruits of Schisandra chinensis and used in traditional herbal drugs. âº Gomisin N is a major constituent of Gomishi extract. âº Gomisin N suppresses induction of NO and reduces iNOS expression in hepatocytes. âº NF-ÎºB and C/EBPÎ² mediate the suppression by gomisin N.
