Abstract
⺠Stimulant medications do not improve academic outcomes of ADHD students. ⺠Sympathetic arousal from drugs and stress might impair memory of ADHD students. ⺠ADHD and nonADHD undergraduates were tested for the retention of emotional memory. ⺠Nonmedicated ADHD students recalled less than medicated ADHD or control groups. ⺠Stimulant drugs improved recall of emotional information.
