Abstract
⺠Safinamide is an MAO B inhibitor with additional non-dopaminergic actions. ⺠Safinamide was tested for anti-tremor effects in the tremulous jaw movement model. ⺠Safinamide blocked tremor induced by cholinomimetics and dopamine antagonism. ⺠Safinamide may be useful for treating tremors in parkinsonism and other disorders.
