Abstract
► The effect of different cannabinoid agonists has been tested in cisplatin-treated rats. ► Cannabinoids alleviate mechanical allodynia in cisplatin-induced neuropathy. ► Systemic effect of cannabinoids was mediated by both CB1 and CB2 receptors. ► At the dose used, cannabinoid agonists had no psychoactive effect. ► Involvement of CB2 receptors was not clear when Cannabinoids were locally applied.
