Abstract
⺠We analyzed GIP effect on the CGRP-I and CT expression in subcutaneous adipose tissue. ⺠GIP effect was studied in clamp experiments in male obese humans. ⺠Very low CT expression was found in only 8 out of 116 analyzed samples. ⺠No influence of GIP, glucose and insulin on the CGRP-I and CT expression was observed. ⺠CGRP-I expression was not correlated with plasma GIP level.
