Abstract
⺠Fetuin-A may play a role in insulin resistance. ⺠The relationship between fetuin-A and parameters of insulin resistance was examined. ⺠At the early stage of weight gain fetuin-A could be of relevance for insulin resistance. ⺠In the obese state and in type 2 Diabetes fetuin-A seems to be of minor importance.
