Abstract
⺠Curaglutide is a novel, proteolysis resistant GLP-1 analog. ⺠Curaglutide was cardioprotective in rat hearts ex vivo, when administered after ischemia. ⺠This cardioprotection consisted of diminished infarct size and decreased hypercontracture. ⺠Curaglutide cardioprotection was mediated by GLP-1 receptors.
