Abstract
⺠GLP-2 increases transepithelial electrical resistance in this Caco-2 model of the intestinal epithelium. ⺠Observed changes in transepithelial electrical resistance translate in increases in occludin and ZO-1 protein expression. ⺠GLP-2 attenuates TNFα-induced reduction in transepithelial electrical resistance and tight junction protein expression.
