Abstract
► Nesfatin-1 significantly reduced the cumulative food intake in the PVN and LHA. ► In the VMN, nesfatin-1 decreased food intake slightly. ► Nesfatin-1 inhibited most of glucose-inhibited neurons in the LHA. ► Nesfatin-1 excited most of glucose-excited neurons in the VMN. ► Activity of glucosensing neurons in the PVN was modulated by nesfatin-1.
