Abstract
⺠Angiotensin II induced senescence of vascular smooth muscle cells. ⺠The angiotensin II-induced senescence was blocked by losartan, an AT1R antagonist. ⺠The angiotensin II-induced senescence was blocked by resveratrol. ⺠Resveratrol also inhibited angiotensin II-induced expression of p53 and p21.
