Abstract
⺠A meal higher in saturated vs. unsaturated fat stimulates circulating triglycerides. ⺠A meal higher in saturated vs. unsaturated fat stimulates subsequent food intake. ⺠A meal higher in saturated vs. unsaturated fat stimulates hypothalamic peptides. ⺠A diet higher in saturated vs. unsaturated fat has similar effects to acute meals. ⺠Lowering triglycerides has effects opposite those of a meal higher in saturated fat.
