Abstract
âºWe correlate nesfatin-1 levels with nutritional status and body composition in HD. âºPatients had similar plasma nesfatin-1 levels when compared to healthy subjects. âºThere was a positive correlation between nesfatin-1 levels and BMI, %BF and leptin. âºThere was a negative correlation between nesfatin-1 levels and protein intake. âºPlasma nesfatin-1 levels are associated with appetite and nutritional status.
