Abstract
⺠Pharmacological blockade of central Y-5 receptors stimulated thyroid axis during fasting. ⺠In fed rats, pharmacological blockade of central Y-5 receptors 15 decreased food intake and body weight. ⺠Chronic blockade of central Y5 receptor did not alter TSH and free T4 of fed rats.
