Abstract
⺠Neonatal hyperleptinemia programs for higher body weight, food intake and lower hypothalamic OBR. ⺠Cold exposure restores most of altered parameters induced by neonatal hyperleptinemia. ⺠Cold exposure further increases the higher T4 and decreases the brown adipose type 2 deiodinase. ⺠Cold affects the central leptin receptor and thyroid function in adult animals programmed by postnatal hyperleptinemia.
