Abstract
âºClonidine stimulates β-endorphin release. âºÎ²-endorphin enhances the inhibition of an α2 adrenergic agonist on induced sodium intake. âºThus, in the mice lacking β-endorphin, an early reversal of the inhibitory action of clonidine on induced sodium intake takes place.
