Abstract
We prove the existence and nonexistence of positive radial solutions for the boundary value problems {−Δpu=h(u)+λf(u)in Ω,u=0on ∂Ω, where Δpu=div(|∇u|p−2∇u),p>1,Ω is the open unit ball in RnRn, h,f:(0,∞)→Rh,f:(0,∞)→R are allowed to be singular at 0,f0,f is asymptotically pp-linear, and λλ is a positive parameter.
