Abstract
The tHAP assay is an assay designed to assess the chemoresponses of Campylobacter jejuni as well as to differentiate between catabolisable and non-catabolisable chemoattractants and chemorepellents. Cellular respiration, as a measure of metabolic function of the migrated C. jejuni cells, converts a colourless chemical compound TTC to red-coloured TPF around the chemoeffector-containing plug. Chemotactic responses can be visualised and quantified.143
