Abstract
Subcutaneously implanted sandwich poly(hydroxybutyrate-co-hydroxyhexanoate) (PHBHHx) films were proven to prolong release time and to inhibit burst release phenomenon of thymopentin (TP5). Pharmacodynamics analysis revealed that implantable sandwich films could achieve comparative or even superior therapeutic outcomes to TP5 everyday injection therapy.251
