Abstract
												Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease which affects the central nervous system. It manifests itself in different forms and results in lesions which cause motor, sensation-related and cognitive disorders and bladder and bowel difficulties, which can progress towards irreversible disability. The first symptoms usually appear in young adults.
