Abstract
Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) consists in measuring medication concentrations in blood in order to determine if the dosage needs to be adapted to optimise the therapeutic efficacy while minimising the risk of side effects. The community pharmacist may be required to respond to the questions of testers or patients with regard to the analyses or their interpretations.
