Abstract
Schematic representation of SPIONs application in cancer therapy. I. The surface modified SPIONs promises its application in the various regime of cancer therapy such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Hyperthermia, Drug and Gene delivery. II. The surface modified SPIONs are more suitable for targeted cancer therapy. III. The surface modified SPIONs enhanced the drug delivery and efficiency through enhanced apoptosis of cancerous cells.172
