Abstract
Six diketopiperazines were first isolated and identified from M. Herba. Among these, cyclo(Ala-Ile) and Bz-Phe-Phe-OMe significantly inhibited viral replication and alleviated influenza A virus-induced lung inflammation. The protective effects of cyclo(Ala-Ile) and Bz-Phe-Phe-OMe might be partly related to the suppression of platelet activation via regulating CD41/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.215
