- Neglected congenital bilateral trigger thumb is an uncommon anomaly in children.
- Its management is still controversial, ranging from observation to extensive surgical release.
- Untreated trigger thumb can cause serious functional and aesthetic deficits as the childs develops.
- In children, operative treatment has been found to be satisfactory.
