Abstract
It can be concluded that 30-40% of emergency abdominal aortic aneurysms do not meet the anatomical criteria for conventional endovascular treatment, with the short proximal neck being the main limitation. The Ch-EVAR technique is a possible alternative in patients with high surgical risk, an unfavourable anatomy, and a need for urgent treatment, and has a short and medium term mortality similar to treatment with fenestrated and branched stents.
