Abstract
												Acute thoracic aortic syndrome is the manifestation of various pathophysiological processes that involve the architecture of this large artery wall. This, in turn, leads to patient complications involving, organ perfusion, or artery rupture and profuse bleeding, and later death. The diagnosis requires clinical suspicion and early application of diagnostic aids, with aim of an early intervention, and to offer early to intervene early, providing appropriate and timely and effective treatment, given its high mortality rate.
