Abstract
Quality of life during the postoperative period was higher among patients treated with orthoses than among those treated with bandages. User-friendliness, convenience, aesthetic satisfaction and pain intensity also improved. Therefore, the use of orthoses is a valid alternative for postoperative recovery in patients undergoing breast-conserving surgery.
