Abstract
Given a closed convex cone CâRn and its polar cone Câ, properties of the set Câ©(âCâ) are studied. In particular, we solve a problem of Stoker concerning nonemptiness of rintCâ©(ârintCâ). Based on these properties, new results on separation of C and Câ by hyperplanes are established.
