Abstract
We establish the result that if Hâ©(XÃP2) is (2,2)-grid-free, then there exists FâC[x¯,y¯] of degree â¤2 in y¯ such that Hâ©(XÃP2)={F=0}â©(XÃP2). Finally, we transfer the result to algebraically closed fields of large characteristic.
