Abstract
Let Mn be a closed connected finite dimensional manifold. The suspension ΣMn of Mn is homogeneous if and only if Mn is homeomorphic to a topological sphere Sn. Furthermore, ΣMn is 12-homogeneous if and only if Mn is not homeomorphic to Sn.
