Abstract
A new genus and species of Mimarachnidae, Jaculistilus oligotrichus gen. et sp. nov. with strongly produced head is described from the mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. Unique morphological characters such as head process, sensory pits and setigerous pectens of hind leg are discussed. The similarities of Mimarachnidae and Fulgoridae may indicate a close relationship between them.
