Abstract
A well-preserved retroplumid crab from the Cenomanian Woodbine Formation of Texas has sufficient diagnostic characters of the type series of Costacopluma concava Collins and Morris, 1975 from Nigeria and may be assigned to that species. It is the oldest known species of the genus and as such has an impact on opinions concerning palaeogeographical distribution.
