- The data indicate that it may be possible for teachers to improve their own mathematics content knowledge through the process of planning and teaching lessons.
- Analysis of teachers' anticipation of ways their students might respond indicate that a substantial number of teachers were better able to articulate the relevant mathematics after the teaching than before.
