Mn3O4 nanoparticles (â¼3.2Â nm) anchored on phenylsulfonic acid functionalized exhibit highly efficient water oxidation activity with TOF of 0.1 sâ1, several orders of magnitude higher than most of manganese-based oxide water oxidation catalysts reported so far.294
