Abstract
Mind-body interventions can help facilitate pediatric procedures. This study evaluated the perceptions and attitudes of 49 staff members regarding the use of mind-body interventions to facilitate magnetic resonance imaging procedures for children. Reported obstacles to the use of such interventions included identification of children in need of intervention, identification of qualified personnel in the department to provide intervention, and limited time to provide intervention. Such obstacles, once noted, can be addressed to improve opportunities for use of interventions.
