Abstract
												Cardiac resynchronization therapy has been shown to reduce morbidity and mortality in patients with advanced heart failure and a wide QRS complex who remain symptomatic despite optimal medical therapy. It should, therefore, be offered routinely to eligible patients with heart failure.
