Abstract
Decrease in AMI mortality regarding previous years may be related with the application of new diagnostic criteria. Prehospital care entails greater delay of arrival to the hospital but supplies earlier access to the basic care measures. The percentage of fibrinolysis in the first 2Â hours and rescue angioplasties are low regarding other series.
