Abstract
We relate results of Huckaba and Huneke, and Huneke, Ulrich and Vasconcelos on the structure of the row ideals of certain normal ideals. We also give some contribution to normality as related to a theorem of Huckaba and Huneke, and their counter example to a conjecture of Vasconcelos.
