Abstract
► We ask target participants to enact the high and low poles of the Big Five traits in photographs. ► We examine targets' success in such impression management. ► Targets successfully enacted most trait poles, especially high Extraversion. ► Targets were unable to convey impressions of high and low Agreeableness.
