Abstract
Several species of the ammonite genus Pseudosubplanites in Berriasian deposits of the Crimean mountains have been established following revision. These are P. ponticus (Retowski), P. grandis (Mazenot), P. lorioli (Zittel), P. subrichteri (Retowski), P. combesi Le Hégarat, P. crymensis Bogdanova and Arkadiev sp. nov., P. fasciculatus Bogdanova and Arkadiev sp. nov. Berriasella (Hegaratella) paramacilenta (Mazenot) and B. (H.) jauberti (Mazenot) are also described. P. euxinus (Retowski) is considered to be a junior synonym of P. lorioli (Zittel). The species described allow a standard Jacobi Zone to be distinguished in the Berriasian section.
