Abstract
This paper presents three transient models of Wind Power Turbines (WPT). These models can be used to analyse steady state and transient operation process of WPT and Wind Power System (WPS). The related equations of turning torque and wind speed are incorporated into the models. An application result based on derived models and 500Â kW WPT is given. Some WPT operation problems are analyzed by regarding application results. Hopefully, the simulation and analysis ways of this paper will be possible references for persons who are working or interested in wind power system.
