Abstract
In this paper we study the statistical properties of the rms delay spread in a two path mobile radio environment, where each path is subject to Nakagami fading. We assume a typical urban power delay profile (exponential decay) for each path. Closed form equations for the mean of the rms delay spread are derived for different values of the m parameter of the Nakagami distribution. Monte Carlo simulations are also generated and compared with the analytical results.
