Abstract
The complex Hg (MTCB)2 (MTCB=N-(morpholinothiocarbonyl) benzamide) and Hg (PTCB)2 (PTCB=N-(piperidylthiocarbonyl) benzamide) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, FT-Raman spectra and NMR methods. The complex, Hg (MTCB)2, crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1¯, with Z=2. Unit cell parameters, a=10.3621(11) Ã
