Abstract
A series of silver(I) complexes [AgL(X)]â (X=BF4, ClO4, NO3, CF3SO3, PF6; L=di-3-pyridyl ketone) have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. Argentophilic interaction, Ï-Ï stacking, Agâ¯X interaction, C-Hâ¯X (X=F, O) and C-Hâ¯O=C hydrogen bonding contribute to different extents in the construction of helical or zigzag infinite chains.
