Abstract
A Keggin polyoxometalate with pendant tricyclic, aromatic entity, formulated as (Hpbpy)5[PW11O39Co(pbpy)]·2H2O (1) (pbpy=5-phenyl-2-(4-pyridinyl)pyridine), was synthesized and characterized by X-ray single crystal structure analysis and temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility, which represents an unprecedented organic capped-structure.
