Abstract
The thermophysical properties of plutonium-zirconium nitride (0-25Â at.% Pu), namely heat capacity, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion were measured on pellets produced thanks to the well established pellet pressing route. The experimental results obtained on ZrN were consistent with the existing literature data. The thermal properties measurements reported for (Pu0.25Zr0.75)N were in rather good agreement with predictive values calculated from ZrN and PuN available data.
