Abstract
A two-parameter generalized quantum group fermion gas with SUp/q(2)SUp/q(2)-symmetry is discussed, and for low temperatures, its thermostatistical properties obtained by means of a SUp/q(2)SUp/q(2)-covariant fermionic Hamiltonian are investigated in terms of the real independent deformation parameters pp and qq. The free fermion gas results with two different kinds of undeformed fermionic particle families can be obtained by applying the limit p=q=1p=q=1.
