Abstract
We have determined the ÏE2/ÏE1 ratio of the 12C(α,γ)16O reaction at Ecm=1.39 MeV and at Ecm=1.58 MeV by measuring the angular distribution of the γ-ray feeding from the α-capturing state of 12C to the ground state of 16O.
