Abstract
The main physics goal of RHIC-Spin is the study of the internal spin structure of the nucleon. RHIC is a collider accelerator at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. Four different experiments study the collisions of 100 GeV polarized proton beams. Some recent results are presented and near term goals are discussed. In particular the measurement of the gluon polarization Îg through inclusive meson, (di-)jet, and direct photon production is discussed. The accelerator performance and progress during the 2004 polarized proton run is also addressed.
